On May 10, 2023, Shenzhen 5G-Advanced Pioneer Conference was successfully held in the Civic Center, and Shenzhen 5G-A application Innovation Industry Alliance was officially established at the same time. As the first Batch member of the alliance, Hongdian was invited to attend the unveiling ceremony.

Shenzhen 5G-Advanced Application Innovation Industry Alliance, under the guidance of Shenzhen Municipal Bureau of Industry and Information Technology and jointly initiated by 18 enterprises including Shenzhen mobiles, Shenzhen Unicom, Shenzhen Telecom, Shenzhen Tower, Huawei and Hongdian, is committed to promoting the development of 5G-A industry, carrying out 5G-A pilot demonstration, accelerating 5G-A industrial chain and incubating 5G-A innovative application cases. A number of influential standards and norms will be established to promote regional exchanges and cooperation.

As an upgraded version of 5G, 5G-Advanced will become the backbone supporting the development of the digital economy with its strong connection capability.
